Ephemeral

by Peter J. Huang

Love is to be described as autumn
Where the softness of gentle breeze
Glides through the colorful leaves
Her whispers in your ears
And caress down your cheeks
Tingles your heart on this magical evening
You wish the moment could last forever
But love is ephemeral
Like the ever changing season
Soon the coldness of winter stabs you
The frigidness she brings to your heart
Shatters like frozen ice
Nothing last forever
Except
The ephemeral memories
